Weekly Reflection (October 1 - 4)

This week was ______________________!

What is the one most amazing thing about this week?

What skunked?

How do you feel after viewing your first official broadcast of the 07-08 school year?

What did your peers have to say?

Watching your peers see the broadcast, what did they react well to?

How did you feel after reading the critiques?

What action will you take after reading them? (Nonviolent of course!) XD

Knowing that your Channel 21, Anti Violence skit was well received, what is ahead for this segment?

What did you learn after tallying today?

There are a few of us that feel more comfortable behind the camera – what can we do to fix our “talking head” situation?

Is blogging less painful?

(Finish this sentence) Reflection is good for:

What else?

Have a nice long weekend!
<3, Ms. L

This week was amazing. Mrs. L you are using my word...haha...one amazing thing is that we are all becoming closer friends (honestly, I'm not under an circumstance trying to quote a hokey movie). I felt accomplished and like the show was my child. Bennett Lee and alot of my best friends said really good things. Alot of people were confused about the opening. I do not understand why? They reacted to my voice over and the sports segment. After reading the critiques I feel a little upset yet a little happy. Find those little munchskins...haha...improve the show and eleminate my talking headedness. The channel 21 thing makes me happy and it gave us even more practice. Honestly I am confused with that question. People have respect and some do not. I love being in front of the camera but I will calm myself and I will slow down on my talking headedness. Blogging is indeed less painful. Reflection is good for learning. We all love you, this is the best class ever. I am dreading leaving it...

this week
******** 8/10 stars

have a good one "L"
see you Monday

This week was wonderful!!
The most amazing thing about
this week was the premier of
our first show ever!
The only bad thing was the fact
that the music messed up for
one of the clips. I feel as if
the next show will definitely be
better than the first. Just because
we already know what to do and what not to do. They all liked the collision between the geeky freshmen and they loved Tyler's high pitched voice searching for
freshmen. I felt as is some of our peers are pretty crazy. They wrote some of the crappiest critiques ever. They weren't even constructive they were just mean. I think that in a sense we have solved it because in previous years it had always been ONE main person that did all the talking aside from the interviews, so we have fixed it sort of but I think if we are going to use someone we should space them out.
Reflection is good for the mind!

This week was good as all. Getting the show done was the most amazing thing this week. What skunked was when me and alex had the show fixed right and then something happened to it and we had to do it again. I think it went ok but i think its going to be cool to hear what people have to say about it in the next few days. We need to work on our cuts and making sure that the music fades in and out in the right places. I think that it is going to be really cool. I like what we have done so far. Other than that tallying is really hard, i learned that people sometimes just make stuff up about the show. To fix the talking head we should make sure everyone is staring in a part of the show. Relection is good for life.

This week was ... INTERESTING...

yea...

>Amazing thing- Talkin at School Board and the skit being accepted.
>Skunked- workin last minute on the show.
>How I Feel- I feel that we are learning, but have enough to create good quality shows. This week helped us a lot to build upon our knowledge.
>Peers said- "Good job...Couldn't hear..."
>Peers reacted to- Tyler's funnyness. They love him. They Laughed.
>After readin Critiques- I felt we could do better. Our peers are rather nice (we are harder on ourselves). & People are wack with the attacks.
>Action taken- prove the nasty beastie monsters wrong and make the show even better. (then if they dont get it then violence could help...hahah. jk)
>Anti-Drug- Its freakin awesome. Love it. Love that they loved it.! We can have it for a feature in the future. I think it will be well recieved in our school.
>After Tallying- i learned we are harder on ourselves than other people are. (RamTV = Perfectionists!) :(
>Talkin Head- We need everybody in front of the camera. I have no problem with it. Tyler i think needs a week off, EB too. Show more of Missa, Mac, Jon...
>Final Comment- I don't like it when i work on a segment(s) for days n days and get it perfect then putting it into the actual show with the sequences and it is different (commercial music; woot for credits) I dont know if it was technical difficulties or if it was poeple messin with it but i personally didnt like that.
> Reflection is good for...getting thoughts out into the open, filtering feelings, knowing what to work on. XD

>I Love The LaFracis
Hope You, and Everybody else Has a great weekend. Im going to 2 birthday parties and going to Scarowinds. ! Woot XD

This week was rly great! Nothing was really wrong this week. I was worried about our first show. i was afraid some ppl would say mean comments or somthing like that but everyone in Mr. Poston's class were laughing and really liked it. Everyone in ram tv pretty much had the same reactions and thoughts as me. I will keep the constructive critizism in mind and try to change things for the next show. From tallying i learned that most people really liked the show which made me happy. As far as the talking heads, i just think we should get more people familiar w/ the camera soo we we will have more varity

Reflection is good for the soul ^^

Well I would have to say that this week was stressful and it wasnt a whole week. We got a lot of things done and the channel 21 project went well it just took a little of editing hehe. watching our first broadcast was exiciting, it did go as planed but we still thought it was alsome. People did understand things and they were brutal but whatever we can always do better and they will be sorry they had said that about us. I can't wait for the next broadcast it is going to be alsome.

This week was great as usual. I was really nervous about the show but it all went fine. I thought we did really good for our first show ever and they will only get better. The people in my class didn't really understand some parts of the show but others they thought were really funny. Yes we can fix the talking head because I think a lot more of us are more comfortable in front of the camera now. When EB and I were tallying it was interesting to see how some people had really just written down answers to be done with it. Thats not very helpful for us and how some were really cruel with their comments. I liked the constructive comments the best. The drug segment looked amazing and it was so neat that we could pull that off in such a short amount of time. I love blogging. Reflection is good for growing. Last week was great. This week will be the first real one week to get ready for a show. We need to buckle down and communicate.

This week was pretty good. I believe the broadcast was good, especially for our first time. We did have one technical difficulty but other than that, I believe it was decent. And as for the RamTV haters, I'd like to say: "You try and do this. It is a lot harder than it seems." Quote/unquote.

Well, we broadcasted, so I think that's pretty amazing. =] Like I said before I think it went fairly well.

I think the main thing that got to me was the music being in front of the dialogue and the RamTV haters. I'm sure they were mostly little freshmen.

I feel that we did a good job for our first time. I got a lot of good feedback from people. Also got some constructive criticism, which I don't mind that at all. I was pleased to have someone be honest, but not rude with me.

After I read the critiques I had mixed feelings. Half of me was happy that people liked it, then the other half of me was about to go after some people. They have no idea how stressful it is. We had to learn everything in like a month and we're still learning so they can just chill.

After tallying we now know that we need to make sure that the people who are on camera that week are spread out evenly.

Well, blogging has never really been painful for me. =] I normally have one of the longest ones out of the class. ^_^;;

Reflection is good for seeing exactly how the week went. What went well, what didn't. What we need to work on, etc.

Hmm, well I am very happy to have the drawnigs done. So I can now help with more of the actual production. But if we need any sort of artwork for a skit or whatnot, you know who to call. <3

This week was great.
The broadcast and the compliments we received were great.
The fact that the music in the show messed up.
I feel that we can have a lot of fun with this class and broadcasting.
They thought that the show went over really well.
The comedy in the show really stood out to most of the peers.
I felt somewhat pleased with our work, but also bad that we couldn't have done it better.
I accepted their criticisms and learned the mistakes that took place in the first show.
We will probably film more segments for channel 21.
I learned that no matter what you do, you can't make everybody happy.
Be more open and just loosen up when in front of the camera.
I like the blogging. Reflection is good for learning your weaknesses and strengths.
