How did you feel about reflecting on and evaluating your neighbors?
Were you more uncomfortable being honest about your own evaluation or that of your peers?
Why did I have you do this today?
What good will arise from this evaluative period?
Joking and LOLing is something that I love to do, as do most of you. Can we come to a resolve as to when it is appropriate and when it isn’t? Can we wean ourselves to minimum joking and map out our “on task” time? I know, I know, I love to have fun. But have we had too much fun lately? Did the stress and discomfort arise due to our having too much fun? Reflect on that one for me:
Lazy/lethargic/laid back…what all these “L” words have in common:
What were you told about equipment early on? How will this be enforced in the upcoming weeks?
Will you move your own cheese (ie: without another TCJM?) or will Ms. L have to move your dairy department? (Sorry that sounded a little like a trip to the abusement park, didn’t it???!!!1)
Hugs, Have a fantabulous weekend!

Writing everything down in numbers on a paper is boring, I'd rather talk about it.
Neither, in particular.
To reflect, of course, why else?
One would hope, some realization about how we have slacked off a little and not got as much done as we could have.
I think the joking and loling is very goood, I'd rather be joking and loling and getting nothing done, then being bitter and angry and having a rancid show. However, we CAN joke and lol and get work done at the same time, and some people fail to realize that they're doing it too much, (even myself at times) and need to get to work.
I would not use those three words to sum us up at all. Lazy: I haven't seen a ton of laziness, usually people just get caught up in something and don't want to stop having fun, that's not lazy, just absentminded. Lethargic: Basically the same as lazy.. again , I wouldn't use this to describe us, we just need to realize how little time we have. Laid Back: This is actually true, I for one am very laid back, but pretty dictatoral when it comes to directing and getting stuff done.
We were told to take care of things and put them back where they belong, I forgot how you will enforce this.
I can move my own cheese, if I haven't already.
COULDNT REMEMBER NONSENSE LOGIN INFORMATION SO THEREFORE I USED SOMEONE ELSES!
THIS IS TRISTAN!
I ACTUALLY WASN'T TOO UNCOMFORTABLE ABOUT EVALUATING MY "FRIENDS" AND JUNK.
I SUPPOSE YOU HAD US DO IT THOUGH BECAUSE YOU WANTED US TO SEE HOW WE WERENT WORKING AS A TEAM AND WHAT OUR WEAKNESSES ARE!
IT WILL BE GOOD FOR US CAUSE WE CAN PIN POINT OUR MAJOR ISSUES AND PUT OUR STRENGTHS INTO MAKING THEM BETTER! I THINK IN THE OVER ALL PICTURE IT WILL BRING GOOD TO THE GROUP AND HELP US ACCOMPLISH MORE!
AND YES WE LAUGH AND PLAY TOO MUCH! WE SHOULD STOP WE SHOULD DESIGNATE EVERYDAY A GOAL AND PLAY AND JOKE ONLY AFTER ALL OF THOSE THINGS DONE!
WE ARE NOT TAKING THINGS SERIOUS ENOUGH AND WE MUST RISE ABOVE! AGH!
WE ALSO NEED TO START TAKING CARE OF THE EQUIPMENT BETTER AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT WE KEEP THIS ROOM IN THE BESTS SHAPE WE CAN! ALWAYS PUTTING THINGS AWAY AND KEEPING THINGS CLEAN!
WE WLL START DOING ALL THAT OR OFF WITH OUR HEADS!
I WILL NOT ONLY MOVE MY ON CHEESE...I WILL IN FACT MOVE THE COWS!
POINT IS, WE WILL PREVAIL!
I was really hard to evalue my peers. I felt if i gave a low score i was being to hard. Also i didn't want to give someone a low score in an area I gave myself a low score in because i felt i didn't have room to get on them for something i wasn't doing myself.
I was more unconfortable when evaluating my peers because i know my self much better and can give a fairer score.
I think you did it so we would look at ourselves and each other and see what needs fixing for our group.
I think a lot of good will come from it. It will cause us to look at ourselves and what our peers think of us and think "maybe what my peers said is right and i need to get off my lazy butt and do something!"
I think we can reslove a time for having fun and keep the jokeing to a minimum. I don't think the stressing was caused by too much fun but by not looking ahead enough and just seeing the here and now. We need to be able to see how close the show really is and know that we need to get everything done for it.
well..its the spring '08 ram tv =/
We were told to take care of it and put it in its place when finished. I have no idea how it will be enforced but i will do my best to make sure the equiptment i use is off and put away in the proper place.
I will my best to move my own cheese and i think that the staff will do the same, especially after show 1 airs and we have a week for show 2.
have a wonderful weekend yourself!

I have to agree with Joe in that it might have been a bit easier to talk about certain issues instead of trying to explain it through numbers. It might have been easier to just fill in our own thoughts on what everyone does a good job on and what we feel they need to improve on.
It was a little more uncomfortable to evaluate my peers because I felt like a number could not explain why I gave a person that score.. it was kind of like a black and white answer.
You gave us this today to understand that we need to work together and step up our game because if we keep working like we are now then there is no way we are going to get a show completed in 4 days.
I think that we will recognize what we need to improve on, continue doing, or stop doing.
I think we have definitely had too much and there's nothing wrong with having fun while you work, but not unless you're actually getting things done. Too much time and film was wasted just sitting around laughing and goofing off. I know for me stress was definitely brought out because of the deadline you gave us and I had butted heads with Tristan, but once we started working together without the jokes on Thursday we actually got things done a lot quicker and everyone was satisfied.
The equipment is very expensive and we need to pay attention to where we put it and make sure that it is all put away at the end of the period.
I will definitely move my own cheese, but it will take everyone's contribution to help make the show, class, and family successful.
Te amo Mrs. L! :D

How did you feel about reflecting on and evaluating your neighbors?
i think it makes us stronger as a group
Were you more uncomfortable being honest about your own evaluation or that of your peers?
neither really, i just told the truth or what i saw.
Why did I have you do this today?
so we can see what other people see and see things we need to work on.
What good will arise from this evaluative period?
family
Joking and LOLing is something that I love to do, as do most of you. Can we come to a resolve as to when it is appropriate and when it isn’t? Did the stress and discomfort arise due to our having too much fun? Reflect on that one for me:
we have had a little too much fun and not been getting what we need to get done done. but hopefully we will learn from this and get everything done then goof off.
Lazy/lethargic/laid back…what all these “L” words have in common:
not getting thiings done
What were you told about equipment early on? How will this be enforced in the upcoming weeks?
charged batteries, marked tapes, carefully handled cameras, and everything put in proper spot. i think we did good in this department from what i saw and it will be enforced when the shows start rolling and doing those things makes everything easier and faster.
Will you move your own cheese (ie: without another TCJM?) or will Ms. L have to move your dairy department? (Sorry that sounded a little like a trip to the abusement park, didn’t it???!!!1)
i can carry my own cheese, thanks! [eventhough im lactose] :]

How did you feel about reflecting on and evaluating your neighbors?
I think that evaluating the other people in the class was the hardest part because I would much rather critique myself rather than my friends.
Were you more uncomfortable being honest about your own evaluation or that of your peers?
no it was easier because I know exactly what I have done.
Why did I have you do this today?
Because we all have not been getting along too well and we are not working together to get everything we need done.
What good will arise from this evaluative period?
Hopefully everyone will realize how much we have to do and we will not waste as much time

yeah I think we do have too much fun it's hard for us to get away from the computer and watching all of the funny things that we have already recorded to go out and do more. I think that we should try and be on task more and try not to joke around and have as much fun so that we can use more wisely.
Lazy/lethargic/laid back…what all these “L” words have in common: us
What were you told about equipment early on? How will this be enforced in the upcoming weeks?
That we have to make sure everything is put away in the right place and it isnt supposed to look like goodwill. We are going top start to get bad grades if the stuff is not put back.

I will move my cheese.
