Week 2 Sept 2 - 5

1 of 9,

What went well this week?
What could have gone better?
Think about the RamTV staff team, what are our strengths and challenges?
Now look at yourself, what strength(s) do you bring to the staff?
What one area do you need to work on to further strengthen the team?
Are there obstacles in the near future...
October 3rd is the first broadcast. What stands in our way?
Learn anything this week?
What are you most proud of relating to this week of class?
Anything else….

This week we had some pretty good ideas, but I'm not sure how good they might come out on the camera. Our strength would probably have to be that some of us are pretty creative, and that could also be the biggest problem, because we gotta think of how it will look on film, and if its only funny to us instead of the public. Also, we don't have our full show thought of yet, so thats still in the works, but we'll get it finished before october 3.

The camerawork went well this week.

We could have done better in the teamwork department.

Our strength is that we have many different personalities. Our weakness is that we have many different personalities.

I bring a creative mind to the team.

The only obstacle I see is learning how to work as a team.

The only thing standing between us and our first broadcast is the fact that we need to learn how to work together as a team.

I learn how to brainstorm with a group.

I'm proud of being a camera man.

That's it.

The thing that went well this week was brainstorming. We spit out a lot of ideas that helped us have stuff to do for the next show.

I think that the work ethic could have been better. There were many times where I tried to stress the fact that we needed to get something for the next segment. No one spit out ideas, so it was hard to get a start on that.

Our strengths are the passion to go out and film. There always seems to be that one person that wants to go out and film. Our challenges that we face is the ability to actually sit down and meet. many just seem to run out with the camera and not be a part of something that we really need to discuss.

My strength in this class is the ability to step up and say "hey guys we need to talk about this" even though many don't actually get together I am trying to push them to do something and get work done.

The area that I need to work on is being able to ask teachers beforehand to film. That hurt us a bit yesterday.

I think there will be other obstacles in the future but they will come up along the way and I plan to conquer them.

At this moment I don't see anything that stands in our way, but there may be something come up in the future.

I learned this week that time management is essential in this class. I also learned that you can't dwell on one thing for 30 minutes, and it is possible to incorporate both ideas.

I am proud of coming to a consensus about the BnB and the tricycle segments. We were able to take 2 ideas and get both what the guys wanted and the girls wanted.

This week a lot of things went well. We all agreed pretty good on everything. Planning could have went a little better. The strengths would be that we can work together pretty good. The weaknesses would be that we don't have the personalities of martin and tristan, so we cant pull off some of the things that they did. The strength I bring to ramtv would be thinking things through more than the others might. I think about how things would be done, and how other people will see and understand it instead of just throwing out ideas without thinking about it. Things that stand in out way would be getting everything done and coming up with another random segment. I learned more about the cameras and microphones.

Well this week there were some good ideas but we couldn't get everyone to agree on something; the guys wanted to do is this way and the girls wanted to do it totally different.

We could have done better on the teamwork, and being on one accord.

Our strengths as a whole are that we have some very creative minds and really good ideas and at least one person is good with the each piece of equipment so we can help each other out. Our weaknesses so far are not being on one accord.

My strengths are that I'm very laid-back and I pretty much go with the flow of things so I don't argue or disagree on most things. Another strength I have is that I have no problem working with people I can work with just about anyone as long as the work gets completed.

One area I know I need to work on is being on camera. I tend to get camera shy and forget what I'm saying, and I don't look at the camera like I should.

As far as I can see I think our team is going to be okay and pull through even if their are obstacles that come up; we'll just have to get over our differences and deal with it. I don't think anything stands in our way except for ourselves.

I learned a lot this week about the camera and its features and filming. I'm not sure that I have anything that I'm most proud of relating to this week.

YAY!!! I've had so many hugs today...I'm Happy!! lol

I think this week we've gotten quite a bit accomplished, but I'm not sure how much of the stuff that we've filmed will actually end up in the show. Our strength is that we have a wealth of ideas, I think that our problem will be how well we can pull it off, I think that some of our ideas are kind of pie in the sky, but thats a good thing because if we can pull them off then it will be the best show ever created. We need to start getting a lot more of the final product accomplished, and start doing real filming instead of just test footage.

This past week was a very productive week for everyone, everyone learned how to handle the camera, use the microphones, and interview. We got the show lined up and ideas down, some of the show has been recorded and ready to go. Things that could have gone better were when we came up with the show it seemed everyone disagreed with each other, we need to learn to accept each others ideas and learn to use both of them or use one and save the other for later. Our strengths and weaknesses were like I said everyone disagreeing with one another with ideas or who goes where and films what. I'm not really sure what strengths I bring to the staff if I were to guess I would say ideas, helping with ideas, and final editing in iMovie. I need to listen to everyones ideas and not disagree, but instead think of ways to improve them, if they need to be. There may be some definite obstacles in the near future, but for now I think I'm just going to pay attention to now. I think really the only thing standing in our way is everyone disagreeing with one another, but we have taken that down and are doing less of that. I learned that Ram TV can be stressful just as Graphics was. I'm proud that I was chosen to be the editor in chief for the week along with Kara. I guess this is all I have to say.

This week was fun, I'm glad we did start on our show, instead of doing absolutely nothing. We talked a lot about our ideas and how to follow through with them.

A couple times we didn't really know how to handle our freedom and we didn't get all that much accomplished. Like I didn't think filming a few interviews would take as long as they did and the little time we saved for it went by so fast.

The RamTV team is a piece of work. We definitely have some opinionated individuals. And there were a couple conflicting attitudes, but nothing too too bad.

I do believe I am a little opinionated and I'm not too afraid to speak my mind, occasionally. :) I try to get a log with everyone, but if I'm being a little bossy; which I also tend to be, just tell me. :) I also tend to bring snacks which I see as a plus.

Some obstacles are that we need to remember what our deadlines are, because those always cause trouble. I just don't want to get lost in our first show and not prepare for the others.

Well firstly definitely the big man, because if I type up nice little letters and we cant get him to sign and agree to them, I think that will become and problem. In this show and others. :)

I learned how to plug in the mic. I also learned from someone that doing something dumb can make u a loverly mule for Mrs. L. hehe :)

I am most proud that we actually started filming, to be honest I wasn't expecting much.

umm.

well last time I was eating a dandy piece of pie.. I'm not as lucky this time, I actually blogged without eating anything this time (poor poor me). =)

much love.

A lot went good this week. we got a lot of really great ideas that we can use for other shows, but I think that some people need to think about how this show is going to go. aly wants to start planing for other shows so that wil be out of the way, but if we do that then when october come we have everything planed and nothing to put on air. We also have a missing random school bullet. I had a integration that we could have done for it; so that would be out of the way for then year, but it got shot down and we still have nothing there. I'm not picking on anyone or the whole group, but i do think that its time that we get things going like a real tv crew before we realize how short a week is. I'm not ever going to say that I'm the best at anything. I don't like being in front of the camera, but I love to film. We have 19 days until we broadcast our first show, this is scary. I'm most proud of us getting a lot of film, but not so much that the film we got is random useless crap.
