will i miss the class..

this class has stressed me..
this class has made me seem as if i was a tyrant and im truly not.. the ones who tried and the ones who looked over my ramtv anger are amazing and i thank you dearly kara and jordan and matt amanda and Mrs L for not going to crazy when i did..
i think some friendships were killed due to ramtv and i think personally that was the dumbest part of this whole class. but maybe after the class is over and stress isnt there maybe friendships will mend..

i really enjoy making a show bc im part of something that is judge for what it was worth and i made it to be a challenge for myself to really impress people for what i can help make.

having the show finished and looking good was my task every week, and even though it may not have been perfect i believe we did improve every week, so to me i got closer and closer to my goal. and i will say it drained every bit out of me but by friday afternoon all that stress from the prior week left me, and i started to prepare myself for the stress to come.

i personally think that this class is the only class where students get as close as they can possibly get.. ive never had to depend on anyone for a grade as i have for this class, you have to learn to handle trusting your team mates and forgive when they may not pull through, and to learn to work with people through anything..

i dont honestly know what to say about this class,
i hated this class for the longest time
and it didn start off that way..
neither did it end that way

i will miss a few people and miss the feeling of an accomplished task as a ramtv show.. no one other then ourselves and our other graphic students will ever understand the effort and the stress and the changes you go through that we take on during this class. the worst thing that irritates me is when they so easily say that the show is worthless and stupid and dont even take the time to think about what it takes for a simple 10 min show. nor do they think " well if i was in the class would i really do better" and think about an honest answer not the typical fast answer of " psh mine would be so much better and funnier bc it just would" not one person really puts their self in our shoes our timeline of a week..

i will miss the class.. i dont really know how, or any specifics but i do think some how i will miss it..

thanks everyone.. jus bc u've been through everything along with me.
iloveyou guys ... seriously.

sorry if ive been a poop. =/

O wow! will i miss the class.

This class was very different than any other i've had. it has been a very stressful, argumentive semester. people went crazy and i personally thought i would lose it big time but i kept cool. [thank u jesus for giving me a lot of self-control] lol.

At times we wasted valuable class time goofy off and not doing anything productive, and other times we worked our butts off to get a show done.

the best thing: you get freedom && you're not alone in the game. && you get to get your friends out of class for a segment.

i think the worst thing is having your grade depend on the whole class, b/c some could care less.

this class was so disorganized and disorderly at times and i feel like i couldnt focus and it was somewhat overwhelming at times, but i got through it.

another thing that really bugged me was how nobody but graphics kids understand the stress and hardwork that u have to put into a show. an everybody thinks we do nothing and its just a fun class; b/c its not its pretty much the total opposite.

in this class u either become as close as u can with the other students or u get as far from them as u possibly can. i think i witnessed both.

since my freshman year i couldnt wait to be a part of ramtv but now i know its not all fun and games.

to be honest i will miss some parts of this class but i probably wont think twice about it when im out.

Advice: label tapes, dont play around b/c the time goes fast and u cant get it back. just stay on task. dont let the stress get to u. be careful of what u put in the show, make sure its appropriate, if ur not sure dont put it in!

'09- wusz really gud! :)

The best thing about this class is that it gives you the freedom to go out and do stuff, which is also one of the worse things about it because you have to deal with your time and stuff. Also you deal with other people and it sucks. I guess that I will miss this class, it's better than bookwork, but it is still hard, Amanda agrees. If I had any advice for the upcoming staff I would say to label your tapes and make sure that stuff is put away and to do good.

The best thing about this class is the freedom we're given; we can do our work however we want. However, I think we have a bit too much freedom for our own good.

The worst thing about the class is the arguments. Almost everyday, someone is arguing with someone else; especially two certain individuals whose names I will not mention. After a while, the arguments start to grate the nerves, if you know what I mean.

Even with all the bad days that I've had, I still think that I'd miss this place next semester. I've had some good times here, but I've got to move on.

The best advice I've got would be to do as you're told and get everything done before it's due.

I would have to say the best thing about this class is the freedom we have compared to other classes. Pretty chill environment for the most part, except for the usual drama thats on every other day. Which is probably the worst part about this class. Also because somebody doesn't really have to do anything, but plays games on computer and listen to crazy frog constantly, not mentioning any names or anything. But its whatever, this semester is about finished. The next class will probably have it easier than we did, because of the people. They'll be able to come up with good ideas with interesting people, and have more people too. My advice to that class is that you cant take your time for granted when it comes to getting whatever done. The next class has it under control though, they'll figure out somethin

Good Stuff

THIS IS JORDAN, NOT KARA.
Lanes in Ms Ls room and I cant get my password.....
Thanks kara. :]

The best thing about this class is the freedom, that we once had, and are slowly getting back... haha. I like the fact that we have complete creative freedom almost.

By far, the worst thing was the fighting. Fighting about the things that don't matter. The immaturity level was pretty high sometimes too..

I will miss this class the most next semester. I've learned a lot from being in here, and I wish our experience in here would have been better. But, I will come in here a lot next semester anyway. :]

Label tapes
remember mics
keep batteries charged
learn how to use the tripod
don't waste ANY time
don't count on other people, do it yourself

that's all I can think of right now. haha.

The best thing about this class is working hard and knowing that you did to get where you are. Its amazing to know that you put your best effort forth.

The worst was......people being apathetic and lazy...and staying after so many times to get the show finished

Of course I will!
I love being part of the mass media at HST I would rather be running around the school than sitting in a classroom for 90 minutes.

haha
thats funny

-label tapes
-make sure that you get along
-follow the show line up
-don't write on everything in the studio
-if the material is questionable...leave it out
-Highland seems to like the "meat" segments
-don't sit around and do nothing IT WILL AFFECT YOUR GRADE
-Use a tripod
-stay on the good side with teachers; with your show as well as getting people out of class
-Mr.Ammons and Mr.Plyler are your friends...no need to fear the "Lord of the Network" he is your friend!(use sparingly)
-Know the teachers that will let students out (you should know these you have been at highland 4 years)
-Try to aviod being micro-managed (its not fun)
-share the editing responsibilty and work hard at accomplishing your goal
-be willing to stay after and work, this may sound like an easy A but its not
-Be yourself but respect others
-make sure you have files, tapes, lineups, the room organized

I could go on and on but I won't; I would put the reader through more torcher...lol

I love you guys!

hm...................the best thing? hm... you know thats a real tough question to ask me, i would have to say there have been many good things in the class, i got to express my creative side, josh and i formed a band with jake davis, i was censored by wingfield, i got to make a stop motion animation, friendship lost, i found jesus in the night in the garden, someone thought i'd get in trouble, but she's wrong, you know just stuff like that, oh yeah josh's and myself' crazy hard board guitars.

the worst thing, is this really a question? cause i mean we all know what i think the worst thing is, so i'm not going to mention it, but other things, hm........shows not getting done on time, imovie crashing, dead people, old people, being censored by wingfield, BLOGS, urban slang( after a while you run out) being seperated from josh, that's pretty much it.

are you kidding? i will miss this class like crazy, but you better believe i'm gonna be in the library everyday chillin and goofin off and doing w/e.

my advise:
be careful with what you do and say, wingfield might censor you,
jake davis better get me out of class
label tapes
friendships can be ruined
"drama" sucks
life sucks
blogging sucks
urban slang is lame
be careful who you work with, you might get separated
this class causes huge conflicts
it's not always about the ram tv staff or just you
don't let critique sheets get you down

i think that gets it all done, sorry if i've been a 4 letter d word this whole semester guys

12/15 lane gigs ram tv room(hahahaha)

this class has really prepared me for what a real tv broadcast feels like.
the worst is that I have really been stressed out by this calls. and the fact that "mary sue" has been acting like everything revolves around her dosen't help either.

of course i will miss this class. i feel like this class has really prepared me for real life.

DON'T SCREW AROUND!!!
