So far, this first week has been amazing! Im getting to do one of my favroite things which is hands on learning. At first, i thought this was going to be difficult, but now that im more introduced to the enviorment, and the good group of people im with, i think this will be a great show! The equipment that we have for usage is not the "newest" but it is still good and im having a blast learning how to operate the different pieces of equipment. I know that last semester wasn't the greatest, but we as students have high expectations for this class and i believe that we will produce nothing but the absolute best that we can.
So far, I am having a pretty Decent time in RamTV. Considering that we haven't done much yet except learn about the cameras and do some sample filming it's pretty stress free. For the moment. I can tell that it may get a bit ridiculous and hectic at times, when all of our deadlines come in and when it comes to filming and editing in such a short time. I think we will pull through though because we are a strong group and all get along and work well together. Jesus Power!
Week one for Ram TV was great. I'm all ready really excited about it and can't wait to air our first show. The people in my class are great and are eager to work as well. Last semester dropped the ball for Ram TV, so we have a lot of work to do to get the school behind us. I know we have the right staff to make Ram TV great. With all the talent and all the charisma, we should set new heights for Ram TV.
Overall I thought that the first week of this course was pretty interesting. Somethings I really liked about it is when we started brainstorming about our future shows and somethings I didn't like about it was doing the commercials because I don't feel comfortable infront of the camera yeat and I don't feel that comfortable being on camera infront of all of my classmates just yeat. It was hard because when me and Jordan started to work on our senior project, it took us awhile to get used to working together and feeling comfortable enough to mess up what we were filming and not be embrassed about it. But hopefully in the future, I will become less embrassed when it comes to me being on camera. I don't really have many ideas that I would like to share because I haven't really thought about it for like four years like Chris Henry and my other peers.
The first week of this class has been great so far. I am a little disapointed about how a lot of our freedoms and creativity has been blocked. I can't wait to start work on a acual show. I love the teacher and can not wait to do more. I belive our group has the ability to do great things and we can set a new bar for RAM TV. The equipment has been good for me so far. I don't know much of iMovie but I am willing to learn. As people are aware, I have a list I have been working on for two years of ideas for this show and I want it to be a great one.
I have had so much fun this first week in here! I have been looking forward to doing Ram TV since my freshman year, and now being in here it is everything I have imagined it would be. Making the commercials was really fun, even though my group had some technical difficulties with our camera and we didn't really get to film today. But being able to learn how to use the camera and how to change the zoom so the picture isn't blurry, and seeing how different we look on film has been so fun and I can't wait until we start making shows for Ram TV. Hopefully we will be able to win back some of the people we lost last semester! I can't wait!!
I have to admit, I wasn't too excited about Ram TV when the new semester started. However, this lack of excitement was not caused soley by last semester's Ram TV. I've noticed throughout the past three and a half years that people are pretty critical of Ram Tv. Since I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and I like being in control and working independently unless I'm with a really awesome and dedicated group of people, I was never really enthused about being a part of Ram Tv. Even though the show was sometimes entertaining and effecient, I always noticed things that could be improved on. Since I've been so critical of the show and heard others be critical of it, I was hesitant to become a part of it. However, as soon as I was in the class for a few days, I realized how much of a positive and fun experience this could be for me. I need to learn how to work with people I may not want to work with...even though I think we have a really good group and the majority of us get along. I just want to make sure our show looks good every time it's aired. No one should be embarassed of Ram Tv this semester and I'm becoming more excited about changing my and the school's attitudes about the show.
This week was fun. It was kind of like the icebreaker. I loved doing and watching the commericals because we got to do our own ideas and see how we could have improved them. I didn't like that the cameras acted like crap sometimes. That last day was the worst dealing with the cameras and it was funny that my voice broadcasted over RAM TV. I'm excited about taking this class because I seems hard, but fun. I just hope that we'll do good and make a successful series of shows. We have a great mixture of personalities in our class, so I do believe it will be helpful. I think we should use a lot of mixture of people around the school because the school isn't made of just one type of person. I would like to show people's hidden talents and maybe a show that shows other fun classes that can get underclassmen interested in it. Like Thearte Arts and the activities they do in there.
This week has been a different experience for me, because instead of us as a class doing our own work, we had to work together. In graphics we never really worked together on anything, so this is a new experience for us I think. I also thought that this week was really good, and I am hoping it will continue to go as well as it did. Also, I think this week showed that our class can work together and we will be able to produce a really good ram tv for the school to see.
My thought of the first week has been really good. I know coming into second semester we have a lot of work to do, and a bunch of things, and pride to regain since first semester wasn’t too good. Although the first week has been really good. I have learned a lot about the cameras, mics, and how you should act and present yourself on camera. This class seems really good, and cool, and I’m looking forward to it. We have a talented Ram TV staff, and all of us get along so it should be a good semester. One thing i don’t like is that sometimes you may get a broken tape, or sometimes in iMovie the Mac will get the "spinning wheel of death". For this semester I have a bunch of ideas. Batman & Robin for an opening since, have special themes on each show like American idol, or something. As the class goes along ill get more ideas. Ms.L has a really good way of teaching, and i have learned a bunch of things that I will need to know.
I really enjoyed the first week of RAM TV. Ms. L is the best because I like how she keeps it real with us. She doesnt try to sugar coat things just to spare our feelings. Right now I think that we have a good set of students that will be able to work together to redeem the how people look at RAM TV. I liked the commercial activitiy becuase it gave everyone a chance to be on the camera. The brainstorming activity let me know that we will be having some interesting specials due to the fact that everyone had ideas and keep writing them down continuously. The part that im going to hate the most is iMovie and the equipment because there will be days we have technical difficulties. THis is something that we have to overcome. The way I think this can be done is stay ahead of every week so we have spare time. Overall I know that we will be successful and have fun doing it at the same time.
I think that the first week of ram Tv went very well everybody seems to get along and seems eager to work withe the equipment and eachother.
I pretty much like the whole dynamic of the class and the directions that its heading I just hope we can live up to the standards of ram tv and make it better.
I really dont have any sandbagged ideas yet for ram tv but I have been thinking about some and have yet to formulate an idea but I will at a later date.
