The first show was AWESOME!! :D
but I'll get to that in a bit.

The individual jobs wasn't a big thing for me. My job as the teleprompter was fairly easy, but this was the first time I noticed how connected we all are as a team. If I don't get an update about new announcements from the person who is in charge of announcements then I'm behind, which could potentially screw up the run throughs, which could also screw up the live broadcast. It's a cause and effect sort of thing. I think we kind of got it together this week after our pseudo "Come To Jesus" meeting. The live broadcast were a bit better on Wednesday and Friday than it was on the disaster that was Monday, no offense to everyone else. I hope we continue to do better with these broadcast because we are slowly improving with each broadcast.

The 1st show was amazing to me. Kudos to Jason and Brittan for doing a great job with the editing. I think it was an amazing episode. While in English class, before viewing the episode, a lot of my classmates were negative towards the show, but after they watched it, I only heard "that RamTV was way better than last year's RamTV". I'm not bashing last year's RamTV, but to be honest, this week's episode was really awesome. I think doing a show every six or so weeks is kind of good because it gives us time to think of new ideas, prepare for the episode, and to certainly perfect the episode. I really didn't notice any flaws in the video. It was near perfect.

Ahh..The Halloween episode. As the editor, I'll promise you that this will be the best episode of RamTV EVER!! I'm working with great editing software and we have great ideas that I hope we can get past Mr. Wingfield. The lineup is awesome and I really want to try new things with this episode like green screening. I anticipate seeing better broadcast and better episodes in the future. I seriously believe that we can learn from our mistakes and turn out great broadcasts. I can't wait for the Halloween episode. It's gonna be sweet!

The first show was undefined?
This week was definitively the most difficult lesson in the significance of communication and job performance. This week, guys in the studio, blew in a major way. There is no reason for me to point fingers at anybody—it is fairly obvious I couldn’t work as camerawoman well—though there is also no reason for me to overlook it. When we are all too busy trying to compensate for others’ jobs instead of lending constructive criticism to make it run correctly, we don’t do our own jobs. No matter how hard one tries to ‘make it’ in a job, strengths and weaknesses play to our benefits when we are in a position which suits us or to our detriments when we aren’t. There really is a point where learned skill does not make up for lack of talent… This theme honestly has a point in the context of the first question, I’ll put an end to my seeming digression. When the limb of a tree tries to take the role of a leaf, all you get is rotting wood amongst the roots; however, when the leaves each help provide nutrients, the limbs feel no need to take their places. I do hope you follow my strange little train of thought.
Truly, I did not pay very close attention to my peers as they viewed the first episode; though there audible reactions allow me to surmise that they found it pleasing. The first episode seems to have gone pretty well, and I have received a few bits of affirming information. There was not a great amount of feedback I personally received from the staff, so I cannot answer this part with honesty. Also, I did not view the programming closely enough to pick out any minute details which I had missed in my first three-five viewings.
With Chavis leading the helm there is not a great deal which will be up to my control; however, the ideas we have compiled—for the most part—are rather neat and seem to promise good things. Hopefully, we can incorporate a greater range of musical genres, though we shall see what happens as the show progresses. The Halloween show will be in a different format; ergo, most things about the show will likely change. For now, we can all just hope the details work out in the wash, so to speak.

The first show was satisfactory! This week I learned it is extremely important that everyone does their job and does it well or else we cannot successfully do what we need to get done. I felt pretty good while watching the first episode, even though as soon as it was over I started thinking about improvements and changes that will need to be incorporated into the next show to make it better. I was in the studio during the airing of the show so I was not able to see any of my peers initial reactions, but i did recieve poisitive feedback which was motivating. I am reallllyyyy excited about our halloween show, I believe every show should be better than the last, as we are always learning new things to help us improve. I have high hopes for the future shows.

I learned that we all dont exactly depend on each other, but in a way we do. Like the camera person doesn’t need the teleprompter, but we all depend on everyone to do their job so that we won’t look stupid.
I loved the broadcast. The feedback from my classroom was really great. Everyone was laughing, going along with the music. It was just interesting and funny to watch them. They would go on and on about how awesome the show was. I even heard a few “that’s the best RamTV ever”s. So put that in your juicebox and suck it ’08! Lol. There wasn’t really anything new that I hadn’t noticed before though.
For the halloween show, I hope that we can look at the finished product more closely. This way, we can catch any things that may be deemed inappropriate. Like, so that we won’t be scrambling around for a last minute Pledge segment. And I would really like for the announcers to be more audible. I couldn’t really hear anyone in the first show. Then again, I’m in the back of the room.

To me the first show was nothing less than a success! This week regarding individual jobs, I found out that there are certain comfort levels that I have in certain jobs. I felt naturally uncomfortable being the anchor (in the beginning) and would rather have been on the opposite end of the camera, but after just stepping to the plate and taking some constructive criticism I feel that being in front of the camera is not such a big deal. I also learned “THE IMPORTANCE OF THE RUN-THROUGH.” I saw how crucial it is to practice reading the announcements and more importantly just getting comfortable with what was lined up and avoiding mistakes like mispronunciations “AKA-DEMIE” lol.
I have been seeing how every role influences and affects another role but mostly I saw how if one isn’t done correctly how the outcome could be run amok. It is urgent that all jobs are done efficiently in order to be effective. I also saw how when one starts to mess up how frustration spreads amongst the other roles. I did, however, see how we could come over this. I love the encouragement amongst our staff even when it sometimes sounds like some of us are just being mean

Since I was in the role of anchor on the day of our debut I felt that Brandon and I had to bring it to set the tone for the show coming up later that day. While watching the show I enjoyed watching the reactions of my peers. Some were predictable in accordance to personalities but others surprised me when ppl who normally wouldn’t care were looking interested and in the end wanting more. I felt amazing when students a faculty came up to me saying “great show”…“the music was dope”…“thanks for making our football team look GOOD lol.” Unfortunately I did notice that we used the wrong URL for the e-share yearbook commercial.

Not gonna lie I’m not really all the way stoked about the Halloween show but only b/c I’m not really “Halloweeny” but that won’t keep me from doing what I need to do to contribute to the show. I think a change we all can work on is better organization of footage and just staying on task. I know from first hand experience that its frustrating when trying to locate cool clips you cant find and it becomes hard when things are named after the ppl who import and not what they actually are lol. It also becomes distracting when everyone isn’t on task and it really made me want to get off task which I often did :’( uhh we should definitely take into consideration some ideas of other ppl at school and the “reasonable suggestions” on the critique sheets

The fist show was very fun and interesting!

the jobs were very interesting to learn and to watch other people learn. The biggest problem was that we didn't teach one another the jobs properly and other were job nazi's and comepletely took over the job. Overall jobs were good, job changes not so much.

Everyone was really into the show. Majority of the comments I heard were very positive and everyone said that this is the best thus far.

I hope we can work on it more as a group rather than seperately and get better communication between people.

the first show was Bangin!

this week i learned that the sound guy deserves more respect than he gets.... i screwed up 2/3 broadcasts in some way this week.

I wasn't here for the broadcast, but i asked people that night, and the feedback so far was pretty good. people didn't hate it, and one person said it was boring. i threw mashed potatoes at him, and told him that if he had a problem, then it's his problem, and his opinion doesn't count for anything. he lives under a rock. and is a dweeb.

The halloween show is gonna be tricky, making it scary and wingfield approved. i'm pretty sure we can do it.

we just need to be more comfortable on camera when it counts. word.

The first show was beast!

The individual jobs wasn't a nerv recker for me. I was the floater, and was out of the room filming stuff for Mr. Beam or Ms. Reynolds. When I was in the studio doing something for someone like dan, I saw that everyone was teaching each other their jobs.

The 1st show was pretty good from my point of the room. I sat in the back of the room to watch peoples reactions. So I wasn't watching the show but watching people. The only time I didn't watch people was when my interview was on... I just put my head on my desk because I hate Watching myself. Other then that the show was good. People really seemed to like it a lot.

As far as halloween show is concerned there will be some scarry things in it. The leadins will be people being killed by stuff. I think that it will be really good.
