Final Blog for Fall 2010

Please take a moment to reflect on the class. This final reflection should include your thoughts upon completing this course as well as what you have learned after being a part of RamTV. This entry should be "thoughty".

At first I thought the class would be very easy and all fun and games. Now that I have been in the class I see it takes a lot of work and even more teamwork then I had originaly thought and also it is a fun class but not just all fun and games. If you do your job and do it the way your supposed to do it and stay on task and find things to do when your job is done then the class can be fun. Ram TV is what you make it out to be, do your work and it will be fun and fairly easy, but dont do your work then it gets harder and harder and even less fun.

In the beginning, I thought the class was going to be kinda easy. All I thought we would do is record things and just throw it all together into a show. It is so much more to it then that. There are so many components to it. It is really fun and relaxed as long as you get your work done. Just make sure you are on task most of the time and just have fun and do not make things more stressful then they really are. There is no point to really worry about it. I am very glad I got to take this class.

ASH: Comming into this class I thought this will be easy fun and laid back, nothing much to it just grab a camera and go. Well as the class went on I realized that yes it is fun and laid back but there is more work then expected. You cannot just grab a camera and go you have to plan and when you do get your footage you have to import, edit, then put the show together. Not everyone can film or be in front of the camera.

When i first heard of this class i thought it was going to be very easy and just record some stuff, now i know it isn't all fun and there is work. The class can be fun but the work has to be done first. I also realized that is wasn't just recording and just slapping a whole bunch of stuff together, it takes many different things to make a show and ALOT of cooperation.

From the beginning to the end, I found this class to be very entertaining and fun. For the most part, the class was fun and everyone got along, but of course, we did have those times where certain individuals that had some rough edges. We all got through the bad times and produced four excellent shows. I'm glad I had the opportunity to take this class!

Brie: RamTV surprised me. I really thought this class would be a breeze, but it took a lot more time and effort to make a good show. RamTV taught me to communicate with others and you HAVE to do what you say you're going to do. You MUST follow through because you're not only hurting yourself if you don't, you're hurting the class and the show. You also have to voice your opinion; don't be afraid of being told that yor idea is lame because you might just save the show.
