Please read the quote, statement and definition below and give a thorough response to the post below.  In your response speak to the quote, statement and definition.

What occurred today during RamTV (and previous days) that prompted Ms. L’s response to end instruction? How could it have been avoided? What will you, as an individual do or not do, to ensure this class is productive?

Instruction was ended because the class was not paying attention by talking and doing other things that are not involved in the Ram TV course, such as homework for other classes. It could have easily been avoided by giving you our undivided attention. From now on, to ensure a productive class, I will do my part of communicating by listening to the instructions being given. Without listening, communication isn't possible. We must do it in order to be successful as a class, and to reach our full potential.

During Ram TV, we were not taking our tasks seriously and were being disrespectful to our authority figure. Ms. L's response could have been avoided through effective listening and giving our undivided attention to you. As the statement says, listening is definitely as important as speaking. To ensure this class is productive, I will devote my attention and energy to the tasks at hand and will be more respectful in the process. I will also communicate more efficiently simply by listening. I definitely agree with the quote in that it states that oftentimes what you directly observe, rather than here, is most important. In order to make Ram TV the best it can be, we ALL must communicate in through both words and actions.

The class was focused on other tasks and was not giving you full attention. Everyone was still talking, fiddling with papers, etc. I will try to just put everything away and listen when you speak and/or require our attention. Communication and listening go hand in hand. With communication one must listen and to further that communication you must communicate with that person. These are both valuable skills we will need in this class to further our learning and understanding.

Yesterday, when we returned from filming, we were no giving you our undivided attention. Everyone was talking and being very disrespectful, myself inculded. It could have been avoided if we had been more attentive and stopped talking to listen to what you had to say.

the class was not giving you there full attention that was needed to understand further instruction. In the future we should all make sure we are giving our attention to the class and the teacher. I will personally do my best to make sure I'm listening and not distracted when instruction begins.

Yesterday while Ms. L was talking, we were being disrespectful. The class could have kept going if we would have given Ms. L our attention while she was talking. I agree that listening is just as important as talking while communicating. Next time we come back from filming, I will give Ms. L all my attention when she is speaking.

I think our talking while you were trying to talk made you stop teaching for the class period. I think it could have beeen avoided if we would have came in and took our seats, rather than talking. Next time if this situation occurs, will try to help and gets everyone's attention. Ithink the quote, statement, and definition are basically trying to get us to understand that we don't know everything, and we need to listen to our instructer so we can learn and understand what were supposed to be doing.

Communication must work both ways to be effective, we were not willing to listen therefor you could not interact with us. We should have been more attentive and willing to listen. Speaking is a reaction to someone else's thoughts. If we do not stop and listen, we will not understand how to properly react.

when we returned from filming our interviews we were not giving our complete attention to you. I think that we can prevent this from happening again by simply stopping what we are doing to give you our attention and listen and then follow instructions given to us.
