The mis-communication problem is a result of people not really putting forth the effort to work together. Everybody has their own opinion of the way things should be done but they don't want to tell anybody because they don't want to cause conflict, but in a way, this makes the conflict worse. We just need to get together and make sure that the main person we communicate with is the editor.
well the mis-communications i have recently had in this class have partly been my fault because i just need to get my work done without the imput of others that aren't a part of what im doing. I should know by now thats what you want as a teacher is for us to just get our work done on our own any way we can. I think the problem was solved with the begining class meeting when we talked about the situations of mis-communication so maybe everything will be good from now on.
Well, miscommunication is a part of life. It happens every day, all the time. I do think it is quite more prevalent in this classroom due to the different nature of this class. Even though we are technically a small class, we run it by ourselves. We all have certain jobs to be doing and we all have different places we need to be. This can lead to a huge gap in miscommunication and unfortuneately it did. The source of the problem would be all of us as a collective but not all of us individually if that makes any sense. What I mean is that the class as a whole can get better at communication skills while some individuals need to improve more than others. The only way to improve communication skills is through practice. We need to talk with each other more, not try to do everything by ourselves and we need to help others just like we would want them to help us.
The main mis-Communications in this class would be obviously with the editor. Sometimes they can get a little bossy which makes them at times "unapproachable." Then in turn that makes everything worse cause the editor is trying to get the show looking good and some are not communicating with them so that it can get done. Also because we are all different, some people are going to be skeptical of working with others and if they are forced to do so then their tone twoard that person could led to mis-communication. I have no solutions to this problem it is bound to happen anywhere, its just a fact of life and the only thing we can do is just deal with it.
well i havent really had any miscommunication problems, my main problem seems 2 be a respect thing. i have been disrespectful to others. the source of the problem is that i have been disrespectful plain and simple. but that was last week. i had a great weekend and i have moved on an feel like it has been dropped.
There is no setting where communication will be successful because everyone is different. Some people are so closed minded that they can't accept people differences therefor making it difficult to work with. When you don't like someone in genereal there will be no communication present. That and the inability to put differences aside to get things done is the problem.
No matter what we do there will always be a mis communication but the matter of the fact is we can't dwell on that and make a simple fix for it instead of everyone pointing fingers just pick up the slack!
Our class isn't great at communication, I don't know why, thats just how things are. Everyone gets along just fine in there, whether we like each other or not, but we don't always get everything communicated well, because whatever it is that needs to be said isn't what is being focused on at the time, and we don't actually find out about it until the very end when it becomes a rush to get things done. It happens to all of us.
The mis-communications is like this: Its like you have something you want to say but you feel like you can't aproach someone and be like all business about it. Because like we are used to talking to each other about like what we did this weekend and junk like that, and I feel like its just hard for us to make the transition into teenage talk to like real life talk you know. It just feels weird because we are our own and each other's teachers and none of us want to talk to each other the way teachers do,, but I guess we just can't translate what we need to get done into Teenager words lolll.

I'm not going to say much on this topic because we all know exactly what the miscommunication issue is.
I know it's a part of life, but can we at least try to not let it swallow us whole.
We've got less than 20 days. Cut teh crapz
